Put down the feature.

When you first start a software project your initial instinct is likely to be that it should be kept small. Just the critical stuff. Nice and lean. Somewhere along the way, you may stray from your intuition and start to add more features. A billing system here, a little automation there. Like being on a diet, ‘just one more’ never seems to hurt. Unfortunately, it can be catastrophic to project success.

Offsetting 2019 to make 2020 better

Vokke is fundamentally committed to improving, offsetting and limiting the impact that the company has on the environment. For this reason, Vokke has engaged with an award-winning carbon solution provider to offset the majority of the carbon emissions we produced in 2019. We’ve achieved this by planting 200 native trees in Western Australia, offsetting roughly 20 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2-e) emissions. This is a tangible way to make a difference, and an action that will last into future generations.

Internship for Melbourne University is open

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about information technology and software development, has a deep desire to innovate and learn, and who values industry experience and a hands-on approach to learning. Successful interns will be treated as a full member of the team, and will be involved in all business processes that our full-time team members participate in.
