A data breach response plan is a framework that sets out the roles and responsibilities involved in managing a data breach.
Vokke maintains a policy to manage data breaches in line with our obligations under the Privacy Act 1988. This plan outlines definitions, sets out procedures and clear lines of authority for Vokke staff in the event that Vokke experiences a data breach.
This response plan aims to enable Vokke to contain, assess and respond to data breaches in a timely fashion and to help mitigate potential harm to affected individuals.
The Notifiable Data Breaches (NDB) scheme requires organisations to notify when there is a data breach that is likely to result in serious harm to any individual to whom the information relates.
