The merger brings AI engineering, agent technology and sovereign Melbourne-hosted cloud services inside Finura Group.
Melbourne, 6 October 2026 – Finura Group, the Australian holding company behind the Advice Designer software platform and WealthTech consultancy Finura Services, today announced it has merged with Vokke, an ISO-certified software engineering and AI infrastructure firm.
The merger brings together a team of 28 across two established brands serving wealth management, defence and manufacturing.
Finura and Vokke will continue to operate under their existing brands, with their respective teams, customers and services remaining in place.
The transaction brings engineering, AI implementation and Australian-hosted infrastructure together with Finura’s consulting and domain expertise, giving the group the full capability to build, implement and run AI for highly regulated industries.
The engineers who built Advice Designer now sit within the group, alongside Vokke’s Navi AI agent platform and Vokke Cloud, a sovereign private cloud hosted in Melbourne.
Vokke has operated since 2015 and holds ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certifications. The company is also undergoing DISP certification for defence work and is active on the LAND 400 capability program.
The four founders – Jon Wellman and Adrian Grayson-Widarsito of Vokke, and Peter Worn and Aron Satchell of Finura – will sit as directors of Finura Group while continuing to lead their respective brands.
Peter Worn will lead the combined group as Executive Chair.
Financial advice is being rebuilt on AI
The first generation of AI solutions has proven the market appetite for AI to reduce the admin burden faced by advice firms. However, in an industry that can’t afford mistakes, Finura believes sustainable AI adoption in regulated industries requires more than standalone tools built on general-purpose AI models.
Advice Designer is undergoing significant development as a deterministic, compliance-aware platform that complements the advisers’ existing CRM and productivity tools, rather than replacing them.
Delivering this requires three capabilities: the domain knowledge to know what good advice production looks like, the engineering capability to build it, and secure infrastructure that can be certified and kept onshore.
The merger brings those capabilities together within one Australian-owned group.
“Finura has been working with Vokke for many years,” said Peter Worn, Co-founder and Executive Chair of Finura Group. “They have the right balance of entrepreneurial thinking, customer focus and the highest standards of security and governance.
“Bringing that engineering inside the group means we can now build at the speed this market is moving, on infrastructure we own, in a country that increasingly cares about AI and data sovereignty.
“In Jon and Adrian, we have found two business partners who are world-class software engineers who share the same values that drive us. I couldn’t think of a stronger team to build an enduring next-generation Australian technology company.”
Jon Wellman, Co-founder and CEO of Vokke, said the merger would create new opportunities for both businesses while allowing Vokke to retain its existing identity and customer relationships.
“As a combined business, we are stronger together,” Mr Wellman said.
“Finura has deep expertise in wealth technology and a strong position in the advice market, and we know the combination benefits our team and our customers.
“Vokke continues as a distinct brand. Our ISO certifications, our defence work, our team and our security posture remain core to our proposition.
“Adrian and I are excited to use the scale of the combined group to accelerate our AI products and services.”
Building a sovereign AI platform for regulated industries
The combined group brings proprietary software, certified engineering capability and Melbourne-hosted sovereign cloud infrastructure under common ownership, with a focus on industries where data security, compliance and AI governance are critical.
Under the combined group:
- Advice Designer will release the first of a series of new AI capabilities in late 2026, built by the group’s in-house engineering team.
- Vokke’s AI implementation methodology will be co-delivered with Finura’s consulting team to wealth management customers.
- Vokke’s Navi AI agent platform becomes available to Finura’s network of more than 200 advice firm relationships.
Together, these give the group something no standalone AI tool can offer regulated customers: software, engineering and infrastructure that are built, hosted and accountable in Australia.
What customers and partners can expect
For Finura’s wealth management customers, Advice Designer will continue to operate as before, now developed by an in-house team.
Our speed of product development will increase significantly, including the release of a wider range of advice tools and integrations to support advisers.
HUB24 remains a strategic partner maintaining its existing stake in Finura Digital.
Finura’s consulting clients will also have access to Vokke’s engineering, AI and cloud infrastructure services.
With strong capital backing, in-house engineering, sovereign hosting infrastructure, and a sister brand with over a decade of regulated-sector experience, Finura enters its next phase materially stronger.
For Vokke’s defence, financial services and manufacturing customers, all operational, technical and security arrangements remain unchanged.
Vokke will continue to operate under its existing brand, with its team, security posture, ISO 9001, ISO 27001, and direct customer accountability remaining in place.
Finura Group will remain wholly owned by the founding team and key employees. HUB24 holds a minority stake in the subsidiary Finura Digital.
